10 Days Ionian Sea – Between sailing, discovery and freedom.

This tour takes you to the most beautiful islands of the Ionian Sea – with an ideal combination of relaxed sailing days, inspiring hikes and cultural highlights. Overnight stays on board alternate with selected boutique hotels.
ITINERARY
After checking in on SY Thalassa, we set course for the sheltered Rouda Bay on the south-east coast of Lefkada. Here we enjoy our first evening in a traditional taverna by the water.
We sail to Fiskardo, Kefalonia’s picturesque jewel. After a stroll through the harbor, we continue to Agia Efimia, where we spend the night in a charming marina.
A special highlight of this tour: the hike up the 1,628 m high Mount Ainos. The view of the Ionian Sea is breathtaking. Afterwards, there is time to relax by the water.
After a swim and snorkeling stop in Andri Bay, we set sail for Ithaca. We spend a quiet night under the stars in the sheltered bay of Pera Pigadi.
Today we explore the island of Ithaca on a hike through olive groves and ancient paths. Alternatively, there is time for a relaxing day on the beach.
We head for the uninhabited island of Atokos and enjoy the crystal-clear water in the famous One House Bay. We then continue to Kastos, a charming fishing village with inviting tavernas.
After a morning swim in Porto Leone on Kalamos, we sail on to Meganissi. Here we explore the mountain village of Spartochori with its spectacular views.
A free day for swimming, sunbathing or an excursion to the Papanikolis cave, one of the largest sea caves in Greece.
Our penultimate day takes us to Varko Beach, a hidden gem with fine sand and turquoise waters. We then spend the night in Nikiana on Lefkada.
A leisurely last day of sailing back to Preveza. A last look at the Ionian Sea before we disembark with many unforgettable memories.
